RUN IT BACK.

My first pair of sneakers were white Nike Blazer Lows with a light blue Swoosh—a big moment for me after spending my first five years in orthopedic shoes. All I wanted was to run faster and jump higher. Born into a family of athletes, my obsession with sports grew into a passion for footwear and design.

My creativity and design instincts are rooted in the philosophy of sport—pushing potential through movement, discipline, and a belief in what the mind and body can achieve through focused effort. This page is a collection of studies and concepts shaped by that mindset: films, visuals, and product ideas inspired by my passion for basketball and my long-standing love for Nike.

FILM: EVOLUTION OF THE GAME

MJ is arguably one of the greatest athletes of all time. Those of us who watched him play understand his influence—it extended far beyond the basketball court. During his era, you couldn’t find an empty blacktop. Pickup runs had lines three squads deep, filled with kids trying to emulate his game. “Evolution of the Game” is a concept designed to pay homage to MJ, his global impact, and the future generations carving their own path.

AIR SWIFT: THE REMIX

Scottie Pippen’s iconic dunk over Patrick Ewing is a moment in NBA history I’ll never forget, and the Nike Air Swifts he wore have always been one of my all-time favorite sneakers. This is my design remix—built around an updated Air Swift, and campaign concept celebrating that legendary moment between two of the game’s greats. Dropping in NYC, 3/3/33 :)

“BORN TO RUN”

I was born with a foot defect and had to wear corrective shoes that looked more like men’s dress shoes than the sneakers I desperately wanted. Every kid around me had the cool pairs, the ones that promised speed, bounce, confidence. I had the opposite. But I still showed up, youngest and smallest, determined to run faster, jump higher, and prove everyone wrong.

The camera glides over a row of kids’ sneakers lined up on a football field — bright colors, scuffed rubber, laces undone. It settles on one pair that doesn’t belong: Jimmy’s heavy brown orthopedic shoes. The kids point and laugh. Jimmy crosses his arms and walks away.

Cut to a doctor reviewing an X-ray: “Five more months,” he tells Jimmy’s mom. “Then he can wear sneakers.” Jimmy crosses his arms again, frustrated.

Cut to the field, kids line up to be picked for teams. Jimmy is chosen last. “Aww, come on,” the captain groans. “Just don’t get in the way.” Jimmy stomps to his team, arms folded, head down.

Kickoff.
The ball arcs toward another player, but at the last second, Jimmy bursts into frame, snatching it out of the air. He takes off, weaving, cutting, accelerating — even though his shoes have no grip. He hits the brakes, slides, then leaps clean over a tackler. The kids freeze, stunned. Jimmy lands, keeps running, and hits the end zone with an entire team chasing hopelessly behind.

Cut to a wide shot from the stands. An older gentleman alone on the bleachers, his Father, stands up and yells, “Let’s goooo!”

End.
